A project that comes from far
This Live-action series is created by Roberto Patino (Westworld) and David Wiener (Halo), who will also be showrunners and executive producers of the project.
“We have been fans of Assassin’s Creed since its release in 2007. Every day that we spend working on this series, we come out enthusiastic and affected by the possibilities that Assassin’s Creed offers us,” said the two screenwriters in a press release.
“Behind the magnitude, the spectacle, the parkour and the thrills hides the common thread of a most essential human history: that of people in search of meaning, struggling with questions of identity, destiny and faith. It is a question of power, violence, sex, greed and revenge.”

They continue: “But more than anything, this series talks about the value of human ties, between cultures and through time. And it talks about what we risk losing as a species when these links are breaking.”
The series Assassin’s Creed will be a breathtaking thriller focused on the secret war between two factions. One wishes to determine the future of humanity through control and manipulation, while the other fights to preserve free will. The series then sees its characters crossing crucial historical events as they fight to shape the fate of humanity.

The first game Assassin’s Creed was released in 2007. The franchise has since given birth to 14 components, the last of which, Assassin’s Creed Shadowsreleased this year. Ubisoft has sold more than 230 million games Assassin’s Creed Around the world and has intended to make it a series since 2017.
In 2021, a first live-action project for Netflix was in preparation with Jeb Stuart (Crystal trap) to the scenario, but he had not given any sign of life for a long time.
Hopefully the version of Patino and Wiener will have a better future, especially since Netflix and Ubisoft originally intended to create a whole universe Assassin’s Creed Composed of animation and live-action projects on the red n streaming service.
