In parallel with the renewal of a part of the range of JBL speakers (Grip,, Boombox 4,, Partybox 720etc.), Harman Kardon is launching an improved version of one of his sedentary headlights. Without revolutionizing its formula of its elder Aura studio 4the Aura Studio 5 is distinguished in particular by a revisited acoustics and a new multi-layer light system.

A design updated at the service of the user experience

In terms of design, although the Aura Studio 5 adopts a transparent bell similar to that of its elder, it now displays a more marked separation with the acoustic part. This new design has notably enabled better integration of its touch controls, which is now more intuitive to use. In addition, the Aura Studio 5 would benefit from new aesthetic refinements, such as refined lines, the integration of more premium materials and a Harman logo more enhanced under the bell.

The transparent part of the Aura Studio 5 also includes a new light system with several layers, projecting effects on the walls, the ceiling and around the speaker. The lighting is available in five different themes (Ocean, Aurora, Blossom, Sunrise and Fireplace), and are modular via the Harman Kardon One application in fixed or dynamic positions, sparkling to the rhythm of music.

3 -way architecture and entry into Auracast

In terms of sound design, the aura studio 5 goes from a three -way architecture with three -way. It thus combines no less than six wide-band speakers, an integrated subwoofer and an unprecedented tweeter. We can then expect a better separation from the different ranges of frequencies, especially between the medium and the treble. The Aura Studio 5 also introduces Constant Sound Field technology, presented as offering an extended sound scene, promoting balanced restitution regardless of the listening angle.

Bluetooth connectivity also evolves in a modernized version compatible with the audio standard. This would notably be used to synchronize several Harman Kardon speakers between them, or implement a stereo pair. The audio chaining, in the same way as the tonal balance of the speaker, is fully customizable via the Harman Kardon One app.

The Harman Kardon household speaker will have Studio 5 will be available in November 2025 at a price of € 329 in a single finish.
