It’s not justAnker Or Tesla who have the monopoly on defective batteries in 2025. This November, it is the turn of the manufacturer Belkin to launch a recall campaign for a large number of batteries that may pose a risk of injury or property damage.

86,000 Belkin batteries recalled

Specifically, two models of the BoostCharge 20K USB-C PD external battery (BPB002 and PB0003) are affected, as well as the Auto-Tracking Stand Pro for iPhone (MMA008). These products were sold between August 2020 and August 2025, 83,500 copies in the United States and 2,385 copies in Canada. France therefore does not seem concerned, but caution is the mother of safety.

In fact, lithium-ion battery cells present in these products can overheat under certain conditions and cause burns or even fires. Fifteen cases of overheating were reported, including two minor burns and one fire.

As is often the case with this type of campaign, a form is offered to check if its product is affected and, if applicable, benefit from a credit at Belkin or a refund.
