If you’re lucky enough to live in a bubble where Black Friday doesn’t last for several weeks or, better yet, doesn’t exist at all, consider yourself lucky. For the remainder, the promotions continue, and it is now the turn of the PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset to see its sales price fall below €350 on the Amazon site.

Launched at €599 (no less) in February 2023, the PSVR2 has since seen its MSRP lowered to €449 to boost flagging sales. The headset is nevertheless very well made, with 4K resolution via its two OLED lenses, and its VR2 Sense controllers adapting almost all of the features of the DualSense in a format suitable for virtual reality gaming. Amazon’s promotion is particularly interesting for those who have built a nice PS5 game library, with potentially games featuring VR modes like Resident Evil 8 Village Or Gran Turismo 7.

Designed for PlayStation 5the PSVR2 is also compatible with the PC. However, you will need to purchase an adapter sold separately for €59.99, to be able to link the headset interface with its tower. On PC, the PSVR2 is directly recognized by the SteamVR application, but does not have certain features specific to the PS5, such as the HDR display, the adaptive triggers of the VR2 Sense controllers or eye tracking.
