The race to develop new AI models continues. Anthropic has just deployed Claude Opus 4.5, its new model, which, according to the firm, turns out to be the best in the world for coding and agentic use.

Just a few days later the release of Gemini 3 ProAnthropic strikes back with Claude Opus 4.5. This new model is designed to meet the demands of professionals and to carry out complex tasks. It aims in particular to optimize coding actions, financial analysis and data management.

On the SWE-Bench Verified benchmark, which among other things serves as a standard for measuring the performance of AI models, Opus 4.5 is the first to rise above 80% for coding tasks.

Claude Opus 4.5 shows in this sense a real evolution in terms of reasoning. The model can be used in Anthropic applications, but also in the company’s API, starting today. The icing on the cake is that the model can be used via Claude’s Chrome extension as well as directly in Excel, for paying subscribers, via a sidebar to write prompts.
