In 2024Enki had begun a major technological shift, with a redesigned technical platform and an emphasis on energy and heating management. This year, Leroy Merlin is pushing its strategy further around purchasing power and energy efficiency.

During the presentation in Paris, the Enki team unveiled two new services intended to strengthen the role of the connected home in the energy transition: energy cancellation and change of energy contract.

Services to reduce the bill

Energy reduction, the flagship service of this 2025 edition, consists of automatically adjusting the operation of connected radiators during peaks in consumption of the electricity network. The operation is carried out via a flexibility operator and does not disrupt the comfort of residents. In exchange, participants can receive up to 15 euros per radiator per year. Leroy Merlin sees this as a natural evolution: moving from individual control of devices to collective intelligence serving the network and energy savings.

Another new feature is the possibility of changing your energy contract directly from the Enki ecosystem, in order to find a more advantageous offer. This service complements the Energy Coach, enriched with more precise monitoring, personalized advice and a redesigned interface to better visualize consumption. The objective remains unchanged: to make the connected home useful, simple and accessible.

A growing brand ecosystem

Leroy Merlin is also continuing to develop its catalog of compatible objects, now with more than 500 products from 26 brands. Among the new partners: Noirot for heating, Schneider Electric for electricity and Tapo (TP-Link) for lighting solutions.
