Daredevil Born Again: Will the Marvel series be entitled to a season 2?

Matt Murdock is back on Disney+ Since last March in the series Daredevil: Born Againwhose first season ends this Wednesday April 16 on the streaming platform with its episode 9, entitled “Go Simple for Hell” on Wednesday.

Is a season 2 on the program? Fans will be delighted to learn that yes, and that it is even already being filmed.

It is even before the launch of its first season that the series Daredevil: Born Again Was renewed for a season 2. In reality, in its design, the show had to have 18 episodes, but Marvel decided to review his copy and reduce this number.

The pear was therefore more or less cut in two to give life to two seasons, the first made up of nine episodes while the second will have eight. Will there be a season 3 following this? Nothing has yet been decided on this subject and only the future (and the success) of the series will tell us.

A season 2 already in shooting

Those who saw the end of season 1 will have noticed the box indicating that Daredevil will soon be back in a season 2, and it should arrive in 2026 on the Disney streaming platform.

Its shooting has started for several months with the directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead again to the realization of Several episodes.

Who will be in the casting of season 2?

Charlie Cox will obviously be back in the guise of Matt Murdock/Daredevil in season 2 of the Marvel series. He will always stand up to Vincent d'Onofrio in the skin of Wilson Fisk while Deborah Ann Woll will be by his side in the role of Karen Page.

These new episodes will also count on the presence of Genneya Walton (BB Urich), Clark Johnson (Cherry) and Michael Gandolfini (Daniel Blake).

We also know that Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) should appear in this season 2even if it raises many questions, and that Matthew Lillard (Scream,, Scooby-doo) was announced in the casting in an unknown role.

On the other hand, we do not know if the Punisher will referate with Daredevil in season 2. However, as fans of the series will have noticed with the post-generic scene of the last episode, Frank Castle did not say his last word.

He will indeed be back next year in a Special episode of The Punisher which will be broadcast in parallel with the second season of Daredevil: Born Again.
