Deebot X11 Omnicyclone: Ecovacs goes to bagless drain for its next high -end robot
Less ambitious than Eufy and Dreame with their robots that go up the stairs, Ecovacs tackles a much easier problem to solve, but which seems to be of very few manufacturers outside of Shark: automatic emptying without bag. It is therefore the main novelty of the Deebot X11 Omnicyclone, even if it is not the first Deebot to offer this functionality.
Cyclonic filtration and more bag to throw for automatic emptying
Indeed, we have already tested the DEEBOT N20 whose station also offers automatic drain without bag. The X11 is nevertheless the first Deebot to offer it on an omni station; Understand that it can also wash and dry the mops. Instead of the bag, the Deebot X11 station offers a bin of 1.6L with cyclonic filtration to separate the dust from the air, and which will be necessary to empty Ecovacs and clean every 48 days approximately. It is certainly less hygienic, but also more economical and ecological and it was long to see these systems arrive on more robots. After all, the bag has disappeared from almost all the balais and sled vacuum cleaners, to finally come back with the robots or at least their station; A real aberration.

Another little extra from the Deebot X11 Omnicyclone station, a Powerboost should allow the robot to regain 6 % battery during the 3 minutes of break that the robot can take to redo the clean water and empty its water during cleaning. According to Ecovacs to the Deebot X11 to clean up to 1000 m², even with the most gourmet settings.
As for the robot itself, Ecovacs of course also announces some improvements, starting with increased suction power to reach 19500 PA. The Deebot X11 must also be able to detect liquids more effectively to adapt its cleaning strategy and cross the thresholds up to 4 cm thanks to 4-wheel drive, but it still seems very close to the previous high-end models of the brand, Like the Deebot X8 With its Lidar lined with a camera on the front and its roller-lock Ozmo Roller.
We are especially waiting to see him pass in our laboratory to judge his performance, but it will in any case be launched at a price of € 1299.
