Dexter (Canal+): bad news for fans, the prequel series is finally canceled

So, when the new managers of Paramount arrived, they decided to focus on Resurrection and abandon the prequel of Dexter.

The fact that a team of writers is being set up to write a season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection However, does not mean that the series is renewed by Paramount, but its audiences across the Atlantic are good enough for it to be on track.

Dexter: The origins featured Patrick Gibson in the titular role, and followed a young Dexter freshly hired by the Miami police in 1991, while he began to control his serial killer impulses.

For his part, Dexter: Resurrection follows Dexter Morgan after the events of the series Dexter: New Blood. Michael C. Hall takes up the role of the killer while he moved to New York to reconnect with his son, Harrison (Jack Alcott).
