“”You asked, and we listened!“, Disney proudly declares on the blog article dedicated to the news of the streaming platform Disney+. The firm with the big ears could have specified “and we took months to set it up”, but it is better late than not at all.

This novelty? It will finally be possible to withdraw a work from the “Return Reading” list within the reception of Disney+!

A small option that simplifies life on Disney+

Disney is indeed deploying this functionality on most supports where it is possible to read Disney+, namely the web, Apple TV and iOS terminals. Other platforms, such as Android or connected TVs, will be affected “in the coming weeks“.

The operation of this addition, which therefore allows you to clean up among the films or series that you do not want to finish, is more or less identical to what is already done elsewhere (and in particular On Netflix) for a long time.

This is happening directly in the “Reading” line of the reception or directly on the sheet of a work. Note that deleting an element from your reading list does not erase progress.

On the web version, you can click on the small

On the web version, you can click on the small “less” visible at the top right of a film or series sheet.

On mobile, just press the three small vertical points in the lower right corner of a work, then select “Delete”.

On the web, it's even faster: fly over a film or an episode with your mouse and click on the “-” at the top right.

Finally, on TV, select the work to be deleted and stay on the main button on your remote control to have the choice to delete the item.
