Dji could soon land in your living room with his latest Romo invention

Dji is known for his drones and its Stabilized camerasbut the company seems to want to diversify. On the official website, there are also portable electric stations and the brand is about to take its first steps in the connected house with a robot vacuum cleaner.
Called Romo, the device will be officially unveiled on August 6, 2025 in China according to an image broadcast on a dedicated site romo.tech and on Chinese social networks. The image does not say much about the characteristics of the device, but reveals part of the interior design. Above all, she confirms the rumors of the past few months.

The project had indeed already been talked about at the end of 2024, when an image of the robot and its station had leaked on the networks. Last May, whole pallets of “Dji Romo” boxes were identified in warehouse, leaving little doubt about an imminent launch.
Few technical details have filtered, but everything indicates a high -end model, combining aspiration, washing and autonomous station, with a visual navigation system inherited from DJI expertise in on -board vision.
Communication via networks and the website exclusively in China suggests that the DJI Romo will do its first cleaning sessions on the soils of Chinese households. No date for Europe yet, but the signal is clear: Dji wants to dust off the Robot vacuum cleaners market.
