Do not miss the 61st fair of the photo of Bièvres, on June 7 and 8

Every year since 1964, during the first weekend in June has been the international photo fair in Bièvres (Essonne), organized by the Photo Club Paris Val-de-Bièvre. It is an unmissable event for all lovers of photography (amateurs, enthusiasts, professionals and collectors) and old equipment. This year, the 65th edition will be held on the weekend of June 7 and 8. Nearly 250 exhibitors in France and internationally will be there.

The highlight of this fair is naturally the famous second -hand market and photographic antiques, which will be held on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. By wandering through the alleys of the village, it will be possible to discover and, why not, offer you exceptional objects ranging from cameras from the 19th century to the Polaroid, old family or travel photos, books or photograph magazines. Of course, a large place will be made in photography and silver cinema, but it will also be possible to find some second -hand nuggets from the digital age.

If you swear by advanced equipment, a new market and services will also be offered with major cameras, which will present the latest technological innovations and have their products tested. Finally, the artist market will bring together a hundred photographers on display.

Beyond the markets, the Bièvres fair, these are also exhibitions to discover, notably that of the guest photographer of honor, Flore, who will present The reveries of Lavini. There are also a cycle of conferences, many workshops and entertainment.
