DOGE: The identifiers of an Elon Musk employee were compromised and it is very worrying
According to this leak, it is possible that the devices of this employee have been compromised for years then that another member of Doge worries by his little glorious past. According to Dropsite News, Kyle Schutt, software engineer, had access to a “central financial management system” of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), last February.
DOGE’s identifiers are compromised
As a member of DOGE, the man in his thirties manipulated the software owner of the FEMA which manages the subsidions of disasters and other funding. His role at the CISA may have given him access to sensitive information about the security of civil government networks and American critical infrastructure.
The Mach Lee journalist reports that Kyle Schutt’s account identifiers have been published at least four times since 2023 in the malware register. Programs infect devices via verolled applications, phishing or software exploits. In addition to the flight of identifiers, these malicious software steals the keyboard strikes and capture the screen. The data is then transmitted to pirates and sometimes find itself in public databases.
Kyle Schutt’s Gmail account identifiers were discovered in 51 data violations and five “pasta” on Have I Been Pwned. Among these leaks:
- That of 2013 which affected 3 million Adobe accounts
- That of 2016 which affected 164 million LinkedIn accounts
- That of 2020 which affected 167 million Gravatar accounts
- A data violation last year of the Conservative Information site The Post Millennial
The presence of identifiers does not mean that the person was compromised or used an inexpensive password. The data is often found exposed during database compromise. However, if Kyle Schutt used identical or similar identifiers at Cisa and Doge, pirates could access sensitive information from the American government. The four malware leaks show that at least one of its devices was hacked at some point.
For several months, Doge has raised the worst in terms of security, especially because A 21-year-old student pilot the AI who rewrites housing laws in the United States. Elon Musk also admitted that his experience at the head of this department was not easy.
