Don’t like your face? Google Photos will allow you to edit it with precision

Today’s news comes to us as often from the Android Authority media, which likes to get its hands on preliminary versions of Android applications. In the 7.56.0.839465534 version of Google Photos, it is a powerful face editing tool which was tested before its official release, probably soon, to the general public.

Custom face retouching in Google Photos

Called “Touch Up” in English, this functionality is found in the editor’s action bar. After downloading a few more MB to activate it, this functionality based on machine learning has its own interface allowing you to retouch not an entire face, but specific elements.

For the moment, here are the six elements concerned, each with a slider to choose which level of “improvement” to apply:

• Smooth
• Under the eyes
• Iris
• Teeth
• Eyebrows
• Lips

Enough to improve the appearance of the skin, whiten the teeth or even give color to the lips, after taking the photo. This means less hassle with retouching when capturing the photo.

With Google Photos, save your photos online and synchronize them to keep them. The service is directly linked to your Google account (gmail address) whether you are on Android or iOS.
