Emmy Awards 2025: Historical night for Apple TV+, Netflix and HBO Max at the top

This night, Los Angeles was the meeting place for the cream of the cream of American television for the Emmy Awards 2025. A 77th edition of the famous ceremony which rewarded the best series, sacred in particular Adolescence and offering Apple a historical vintage. We take stock.

The studio far ahead

Already well celebrated during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards last week (which crowned the technical categories), the series Apple TV+ confirmed their supremacy last night during the prestigious Primetime Emmys.

The studio Thus won 13 Emmy Awards (out of 23 nominations), the record for a comic series, and the highest accumulation of this edition. Season 2 of Severance She left with two additional statuettes, for the actors Tramell Tilman and Britt Lower, carrying her total to nine trophies.

Despite this record year, Apple TV+ and its 22 Emmys arrive in third place in the platform classification, behind Netflix And HBO Max (30 each), Disney+ (7) and Prime Video (5).

Adolescence and Netflix celebrated

The Red N platform totaled 30 awards (Creative Arts and Primetime Emmys accumulated) thanks to the coronations ofAdolescence. The event mini-series saw the actors Stephen Graham, Erin Doherty and the young Owen Cooper prevail. The director Phil Barantini was also crowned for its ambitious realization.

Another streaming platform also left with 30 Emmy Awards: HBO Max. Warner Bros.’s service. Discovery can say thank you to his series The Pitt And The Penguin. The Pitt won him as the best dramatic series, and his actor Noah Wyle was also crowned. Actress Cristin Milioti was also sacred for her performance in the DC series.

In the lot of the other victories last night, we will note the Emmy won by Tony Gilroy for the series Andorwhen actress Jean Smart left with her seventh trophy thanks to her role in Hacks.
