What if youtube now became the reference to find the events and concerts of your favorite groups? On Thursday August 21, the video giant in any case formalized an agreement with The Bandsintown site To integrate its database directly within its platform.

Founded in 2007, Bandsintown is a site and an application that allows users to receive notifications on events, shows and turned in their city and nearby, while allowing artists to manage and communicate their dates more easily.

Thanks to this partnership between Bandsintown and Youtube, all this information can now be available directly via videos, artists’ shorts or by going to their official Youtube pages, alongside the “Playlist” and “Boutique” tabs.

In detail, this integration allows artists to publish and update their touring dates on Bandsintown For Artists, which will make them appear automatically on Youtube.

In addition, YouTube incorporates a functionality of push notifications that alert users of concerts around them and the next shows of their favorite artists. This information on concerts will also soon arrive on the home page of the site, before integration extended at the end of 2025 to YouTube Music, which will offer live events on the artists page.

Just out of the Lollapalooza festival, the singer and songwriter Sabrina Carpenter is the artist put forward in this unprecedented partnership. Thus, in addition to using Bandsintown to distribute the dates of its events on its official website, this information is now accessible via its official YouTube page, in addition to its concerts.

In an official press release, the Bandsintown co -founder, Fabrice Sergent, was delighted with this new collaboration with the video streaming:

“At a time when musicians are still struggling to generate income, this exclusive integration with YouTube once again illustrates Bandsintown’s engagement to create equitable value and opportunities for artists from around the world, all sizes and all kinds, in order to be discovered on digital platforms and to sell more tickets”.

The icing on the cake, Bandsintown users can benefit from a free 2-month trial at YouTube Premium, which allows the viewing and listening to concerts and music without advertising, offline and in the background.
