At the risk of driving open doors, it’s crazy, as time passes quickly. Take Google Photos for example. The Mountain View firm was launched ten years ago. To celebrate this anniversary, Google has decided to highlight several tips to take full advantage of its solution (tips that we have already mentioned: Google Photos: These features that are too little known to better manage and store your data). Within these tips, which you may already know, two new features are hiding.
A much more complete photo editor and simplified sharing
The main novelty is actually a draft of the publisher integrated into Google Photos. To come on Android from next month and “later” in the year on iOS, this redesigned publisher brings together in a single place all the Google tools for image editing. Practical to save time and less get lost in the application. Suggestions propelled by AI are in particular part (tone, color, erasure, abolition of blur, light, etc.), with the possibility of combining several effects or retouching a particular area.
The reimagine tools (which allows you to change the content of a photo with a prompt) and Auto Frame (which best crops a snapshot), initially launched in Magic Editor on Pixel 9, now arrive on more devices.

An ever more popular service
The other novelty, being deployed, concerns the sharing of albums. To simplify it and accelerate it, a new system based on QR codes is part. Anyone with access to QR code can scan it and consult the album linked to it. Simple and efficient.
For lovers of figures, Google claims more than 9 trillions of photos and videos hosted on Google Photos, with 1.5 billion active users per month.
