For a handful of years now, Google offers on Android Health Connect (or Health Connect), a service designed to replace Google Fit and aggregate health data from other applications and several connected devices. The objective is in particular to allow these different elements to exchange data for more complete and precise monitoring.
Health Connect soon compatible with other services
So far, several dozen applications have been compatible, such as Fitbit, Samsung Health, Withings or Oura. But there were still a few serious strings to this bow, which will improve from next June.

The announcement was made discreetly during the last Google I/O. Thus, from next month, the Runna, Mi Fitness (already visible in the list above) and especially Garmin will be able to exchange their data with the others.

Google has not indicated which data will be affected for each application, or in what sense this information will pass on. Runna being an application for runners, data from training sessions should be able to sail to other genre applications. Same thing for Mi Fitness, which supports data from watches and bracelets from the brand.
Finally, in the Garmin side, the main piece of this update, beyond health and training data from the brand’s watches, the latter also offers other products, such as scales or connected belts. What possibly add interesting and rarely offered data elsewhere for follow -up.
