At the end of the 13th century, the Mongolian Empire ravaged entire nations during its campaign aimed at conquering the East. The island of Tsushima is everything that separates Japan from the incredible Mongolian fleet led by a cunning and ruthless general, Khutun Khan.
While the first wave of the Mongolian assault ignites the island, the samurai Jin Sakai, the last survivor of his clan, takes up arms. He is determined to do the right thing, whatever it costs, to protect his people and recover the island. He must free himself from the traditions that made him a warrior to take a new path, that of the ghost, and wage an unconventional war in order to release Tsushima.
