Google Pixel: May 2025 update available, here are the fixes!
Like every beginning of the month, Google deploys a new update To pamper its pixel smartphones. However, this is not a new Feature drop For the May 2025 version, but simply a safety focused version and some bug corrections. Here are the news!
What’s new for Pixel with the May 2025 update?
Available for all models from Pixel 6, the new smartphones update Google First embarks on the May 2025 security patch.
The latter precisely fills 50 vulnerabilities-including CVE-2025-27363, allowing code to be executed without any special authorization. Note, the Mountain View firm specifies that it is subject “Limited and targeted exploitation”.
This flaw is therefore used by some people, but not yet on a large scale. It is thus highly recommended to install this update as soon as possible to protect your smartphone.
As a bonus, compatible pixels were entitled to the resolution of three bugs:
- Audio: correction of the deterioration of the quality of microphone recording in certain applications (including WhatsApp)
- Bluetooth: correction of bluetooth pairing problems with certain connected watches
- Framework: Correction of the secondary language displayed in fast settings
