GPT – 5 comes in a few days: here is what OPENAI for Chatgpt is preparing

According to The Verge,, OPENAI is preparing to deploy GPT – 5 this summerand even, from the first days of August. This model would not just succeed in GPT – 4Obut would absorb all the variations existing in a single system. The stake? A more consistent, more fluid, easier to exploit AI – as much for the general public as for pros.

GPT – 5: OPENAI prepares a single AI to replace all its models from August
The project is ambitious, almost radical. GPT – 5 would be designed to replace all the models today available at OpenAi, with a clear logic: offering a unique engine, capable of adapting to needs without having to juggle between technical versions.
Three variations are planned: a “hand” version for the general public, a “mini” version optimized for less powerful devices, and a “nano” version dedicated to integrators via API. Exit therefore the names GPT – 4, GPT – 4O, O3 or Turbo: everything will be melted in a single system, with differentiated performance levels as needed.
This simplification goes hand in hand with a technical power. GPT – 5 would inherit the refined reasoning of the O3 model, the responsiveness of GPT – 4O, and reinforced conversational capacities. It would natively be integrated into Chatgptwithout a drop -down menu or choice of model: the experience would be unified, both for subscribers and for free users.
Officially, Openai has not yet detailed its calendar, but several signals converge on a deployment from the first days of August. It remains to be seen whether the promise of a single, clear and versatile AI will hold once in our hands. If this is the case, GPT – 5 may well end the waltz of the models.
