Gravity circuit on Nintendo Switch (dematerialized)
€ 12.09 – Nintendo
“Gravity Circuit” (89/100 on Metacritic) is an action-palate game that pays tribute to the classics of the genre, especially “Mega Man”. You direct Kai, a fighting robot with armor recalling Zero. The game offers a selection of missions where you can choose the level of the levels and face eight different bosses, each with its own environment, traps and specific enemies.
The gameplay is dynamic and fluid, intuitive handling. Kai specializes in close combat, using his fists to chain hooks, uppercuts and even catches inspired. He also has a grapple, similar to that introduced in “Mega Man Zero 2”, which allows him to hang on the walls, swing to overcome obstacles and attack remotely. Movements such as sliding and wall jumps add to the character's mobility.

By progressing, you can unlock additional capacities, such as double jump or the possibility of dasher on an enemy thanks to the grapple, offering various variations in play style. The game also offers special, recovered blows by beating the different bosses, which can be equipped and used by consuming energy. These special blows are not essential to finish a level, but they offer a significant advantage against bosses and can be useful in certain sections of the levels.
Visually, “Gravity Circuit” adopts a retro aesthetic with pixelated graphics reminiscent of the games of the 80s and 90s. The soundtrack, with typical sounds of that time, is catchy and contributes to immersion in this nostalgic universe. Level design is neat, with various levels that intelligently exploit the game mechanics, offering a balanced challenge without being insurmountable.
