Grok is programmed to lick Elon Musk’s boots and his praise is as funny as it is absurd

While Grok is in turmoil following anti-Semitic remarksElon Musk’s AI praises its creator, as if someone had programmed it for that. For example, a certain deleted message from the chatbot explains that Elon Musk is among the ten greatest minds in our history.

When Grok polishes Elon Musk’s pumps too much

Grok also claimed that Elon Musk is much more physically fit than basketball player LeBron James. According to the chatbot, the billionaire demonstrates great strength by managing SpaceX, Tesla and xAI at the same time.

For him, Elon Musk demonstrates physical endurance, mental diligence and versatility, which makes him stronger than LeBron James (considered one of the best players in NBA history).

Even funnier, Grok claimed that Elon Musk could score four points in overtime at a Super Bowl. For what ? The chatbot doesn’t explain it and just displays an error message that says it’s looking for data.

Users of course exploited the chatbot’s tendency to praise Elon Musk to generate even more absurd responses. Some had Grok generate compliments about sexual performance “extreme” of Elon Musk and other scenarios disconnected from reality.

Elon Musk reacted on X. His explanation: Grok would have been manipulated by his adversaries to say positive things to the point of absurdity about him. For the billionaire, users are responsible for this trend.
