Harry Potter: Here are the new Harry, Ron and Hermione of the HBO series

The magic choice has made its decision and we finally know who are the new young actors chosen to embody Harry, Ron and Hermione in the new series Harry Potter in preparation for HBO Max.

The new “Golden Trio”

Over 30,000 children have auditioned for the series Harry Potter whose filming will start in a few weeks in England. From now on, the three children who will camp the flagship characters of the saga of JK Rowling were chosen and it is Dominic McLaughlin in the role of Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton in that of Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout in the guise of Ron Weasley.

“After an extraordinary search by casting directors Lucy Bevan and Emily Brockmann, we are delighted to announce that we found our Harry, Hermione and Ron. The talent of these three unique actors is wonderful and we are impatient that the whole world is witnessing their magic on the screen,” said Francesca Gardiner (Showrunner) and Mark Mylod (director).

“We would like to thank the tens of thousands of children who participated in the auditions. It was a real pleasure to discover the multitude of young talents that we have in the United Kingdom.”

It was Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson who gave life to Harry, Ron and Hermione in the eight films Harry Potter Released in the cinema between 2001 and 2011.

From now on, it is a whole new generation that will be able to discover the adventures of the boy who survived the HBO series, which intends to be “A faithful adaptation of the Harry Potter books.”

McLaughlin, Stanton and Stout therefore join a casting Already composed of John Lithgow (Albus Dumbledore), Janet McTeer (Minerva McGonagall), Paapa Essiedu (Severus Rogue) or Nick Frost (Rubeus Hagrid).

The series Harry Potter will arrive on HBO Max between the end of 2026 and early 2027.
