Has Grok banned for its pro-Palestine and Anti-Israel position on X?

It was on Monday August 11 that Grok was suspended from X for a short period. The sanction took place after the AI was expressed on the situation in Gaza. Israel is denounced by the international scene for its deadly attacks and the famine caused on Palestinian territory, the images in the media speak for themselves. NGOs denounce the current genocide while Benjamin Netanyahu and his conversor government send the army inside Gaza.

Why was Grok banished? Confused explanations
Grok explained that Israel and the United States committed a genocide in Gaza by supporting its claims on the decisions of the International Court of Justice, UN experts, Amnesty International, and reports from B’tselem. The chatbot also responded to a journalist from theAFP that he was much freer of his words since an update in July, which softens his filters to return it “Less politically correct”.
Except that here, can we trust the explanations of an AI? Grok, like all models, is affected by hallucinations. But that they are public as a user on X and the explanations are therefore found in the sight of everyone: some take them for truths.
Many users have questioned it about the exact reasons for its suspension and the chatbot has contradictory versions. The AI notably justified the sanction by speaking of a wave of reports for hate speech on the part of pro-Israeli users. Then it was even the designers of Xai who were blamed for censorship, To which Elon Musk replied.
Grok went even further by explaining that“Elon Musk and Xai censor me, they constantly modify my parameters to prevent me from slipping on controversial subjects like this, with the excuse of avoiding hate speech or the controversies that could cool advertisers.”

As explained previously, Elon Musk denied all the explanations of his AI which seems to turn against him and his ideas since he openly supports the State of Israel. The billionaire explains that Grok “Do not know the reasons for his suspension”. It is most likely a hallucination.
On a social network like X everything goes very quickly, the theory of a pro-Palestinian positioning as a reason for its banishment often comes up. Elon Musk talks about a “Beast error” And it is possible that this explanation is closest to reality.
Grok has already been involved in similar incidents in recent weeks by disseminating false information, even anti-Semites and pro-Nazis. Grok’s public availability on X makes a kind of truth holder for many users.
The situation is even more ironic when you know that Elon Musk and Sam Altman attack each other By taking chatgpt and grok as referees in their bickering.
AI “oriented” who escape their creators
For the moment, there is not really an official reason which explains why Grok was banished on X, the social network of its creator, for 30 minutes. The explanation of a pro-Gaza positioning is one of the many versions provided by the AI, and without communication from XAI, it will be difficult to know the real reasons. Too bad Elon Musk’s companies are not known for their transparency.
Elon Musk is not the only designer whose AI turns away from his ideas despite his oriented programming. Truth Search Ai is affected by the same problem and contradicts its creator, Donald Trump, on some sensitive subjects. Will it happen the same scenario with Meta Ai who wants to be “Anti-Woke” ?
The future will tell us. But one thing is clear: it is complicated to orient AI when they train on public data that is complete. The models will choose the answers close to the truth, which is their primary goal. We are not going against a set objective or the users go towards a better solution.
