Hisense C3: Here is what you need to know about the new 4K Trilaser projector from the manufacturer

In 2024, Hisense replaced his C1 video projector with three models C2C2 pro and C2 Ultra which turned out to be excellent during our tests. This year, Hisense puts the cover with three models also, but for the moment only the C3 was presented at the IFA. Few changes are to be expected on the design side with an integrated swing foot like last year and an aesthetic almost identical to the classic C2.

Otherwise we find a trilaser as usual and a 4K definition as well as HDR10+ and Dolby Vision compatibility and some new features are on the program, but we unfortunately have little information at the moment. The brightness is slightly up with 2,200 Lumens ISO announced, a new Mediatek MT9681 processor is a priori on the program and the contrast, the nerve of the war of video projectors promises to be higher.

Not enough to revolutionize the C2 range for the moment it must be admitted, but small touches improvements that will still perfect the experience of viewing and use. Remember that C2 is one of the best video projectors of our comparison when writing these lines, but competition will be severe this year with the arrival of new very interesting models among competitors, XgimiValerion and Dangbei in particular.

No price increase, and an outing soon

Fortunately, the prices do not increase with an indicative rate of € 1800 for the C3 and if the C2 should be ejected from the catalog, it could stay for some time in resellers until stocks are exhausted. We hope to have news soon from the rest of the C3 range and the ultra model in particular, but we will probably have to wait for the CES of Las Vegas in January … Exist scheduled at the end of the year or early 2026, but we will of course keep you informed.
