“Joséphine Baker the musical” makes us rediscover the dazzling artist with the talents of a unusual dancer and singer, pioneer in hip hop. This spectacle also reveals the romantic life of this free and committed woman. We will come across his partners (Gabin), his lovers (Paul Colin, Pépito), his husbands (Willie Baker, Jo Bouillon) and the heroes, like her, who will not hesitate to put their lives in danger to save Jews and thwart the plans of the Nazis. She will campaign all her life against racial segregation by joining Martin Luther King Jr and by adopting 12 children of all origins to create her rainbow tribe. Nothing stopped Joséphine Baker. It was pure energy. There is more than one woman in the life of this multifacette woman and rainbow. Like the light that diffuses in the prism, it inspired us a succession of colorful paintings, original dance music which retrace its century of shadows and light !!!
