Klipsch ProMedia Lumina: a 2.1 audio system designed for gaming and small spaces
The American manufacturer Klipsch stands out both in the market for high-end hi-fi speakers and for more affordable active or evening models. It also forms a complementary duo with the Japanese brand Onkyo, a specialist in integrated amplifiers, which also markets some compact active speakers, such as the GX-30ARC and GX-10DB. Klipsch today unveils a new pair of active speakers, this time designed for the office, gamers, content creators or simply listening to music nearby.

A format adapted to close listening and gaming
Only 24 cm high, the ProMedia Lumina are distinguished by their bookcase format suitable for small spaces. They rest on small feet which raise them slightly and can be tilted vertically (from 0° to 18°) in order to direct the tweeters towards the listener’s ears. A design that makes it an ideal solution for discreet integration, including more traditional music listening in a small room.
Acoustically, each speaker houses a 25mm soft dome tweeter housed in a MicroTractrix horn, supposed to provide minimal distortion and better controlled dispersion. The bass/mid register is entrusted to a 7.6 cm speaker. To compensate for this very reduced volume and reinforce the presence in the lower end of the spectrum, the ProMedia Lumina are accompanied by an imposing wired subwoofer, equipped with a 16.5 cm side woofer and a front bass-reflex port. The unit develops a total power of 100 W RMS.

Multiple streaming possibilities and full control via the Klipsch Connect app
Designed to offer multiple possibilities of use, the system integrates a Bluetooth 5.3 receiver to listen to music wirelessly from any source. On the connectivity side, there is a USB-C port to connect them to a computer (Mac, PC), as well as a 3.5 mm mini-jack auxiliary input for analog devices. A headphone output is also present to ensure more intimate listening.
Located on the top of the right speaker, the controls include dedicated volume and source selection buttons. The subwoofer has a potentiometer allowing you to independently adjust the bass level.
The ProMedia Lumina can also be controlled via the Klipsch Connect app. This gives access to several listening modes, such as Music, Film and Virtual Surround, the latter improving spatialization for an experience gaming more immersive. A six-band equalizer allows you to refine the sound reproduction, while a Night mode reduces the general level and attenuates the bass for more discreet listening. The speakers also offer five ambient LED lighting modes, fully customizable from the Klipsch Connect application.
Backed by Klipsch’s acoustic know-how and a particularly comprehensive user experience, the ProMedia Lumina has everything to establish itself as a versatile everyday solution. They are currently only available in the United States at a price of $380, then will arrive in Europe in January 2026 at the recommended price of €399.
