What we liked during the test:

• Surgical filtration : This is the big strong point of this model. Delivered with two baskets and a 3 µm MicroMesh filter, it doesn’t let anything through. Sand, earth, fine algae… everything is captured. This is rare enough on the market to be underlined.
• Formidable effectiveness in substance : Our tests revealed that the Scuba X1 excels at cleaning the bottom of the pool. It moves in an “S” pattern consistently and doesn’t kick up debris with its smooth ride.
• Solid autonomy : Promise kept by Aiper. We measured almost 3 hours of autonomy (exactly 2h50 in background mode), which is more than enough to treat a standard swimming pool (8x4m type or even larger) in a single charge.
• Zero cable : No more tangles. It is completely wireless and recharges on a discreet station which does not disfigure your technical room.

Know before buying : In full transparency, this pool robot is not made for all pools. The mobile application is anecdotal (no virtual mapping) and it struggles on the stairs. It is above all an excellent bottom and wall cleaner for swimming pools with rectangular or simple shapes.
