Offer a versatile electric car below € 30,000 seemed unrealistic a few years ago, but certain options now exist. Stellantis, for example, markets his Citroën Ë-C3 Aircross And Opel Frontera Electric From € 27,400 and € 29,000 respectively, excluding state aid.

These two proposals are not the most modern, however, taking up the low cost Smart car architecture and ignoring certain refinements. To offer an affordable electric SUV to the tastes of the day, Stellantis therefore focuses on his partnership With the Chinese manufacturer Leapmotor, the group of which already offered the Mini Citadine T03 and the C10 family SUV in Europe. From now on, it is the turn of the compact B10 SUV, 4.50 m long, to enter our market.

The B10 had been discovered on the occasion of the 2024 Auto World Cup in Paris, where it had been presented worldwide, testifying to its ambitions on the European market. Chinese rivals, of course, but also European

Compared to Chinese competition, the B10 seems fairly well positioned. THE MGS5 EV For example, it is sold from € 32,490 and the byd Atto 3 from € 38,990.

However, European competition is far from dropped. If the Renault Scenic E-Tech is much more expensive, from € 41,990, it is eligible for the EEC premium which allows you to soften its price of up to € 4,240 according to income conditions and its smallest battery already offers 429 km of WLTP autonomy. But it is above all Škoda which is distinguished with its Elroq. The latter is offered from € 33,300, excluding EEC bonus, with WLTP autonomy of 370 km at the entrance. What to do more than resist in the face of Chinese competition.
