Stellantis struck hard by important the Chinese electric mini-target Leapmotor T03 with us, with a price announced at € 14,900. Only here, this price took into account the ecological bonus to which the T03 was ultimately not entitled. Stellantis hoped to win this aid by assembling the T03 in Poland from kits (SKD) produced in China, but the French government has revised the conditions of eligibility for the bonus to avoid this kind of abuse. From now on, the T03 sold with us are therefore assembled directly in China and devoid of bonuses.

Since this tedious launch, the French subsidiary of Leapmotor International (joint venture managed at 51/49 between Stellantis and Leapmotor) has played discounts to maintain the appeal of its T03. If it was a time offered at € 14,900 via a discount of € 4,000 compensating for the amount of the bonus, the brand could not maintain this offer for a long time.

However, a new offer, not as aggressive but always very interesting, has just been launched by Leapmotor. In June, the brand displays its electric mini-target at a price of € 16,900, including the EEC bonus in the amount of € 353 and a commercial gesture of the brand.

This is precisely the price of the Dacia Spring at the entrance, making the two models the cheapest electric cars on the French market. Nevertheless, the T03, sold in a unique version, is much more opulent than its Romanian rival.

Complete equipment and a correct standard technical sheet

Thus, the T03 is surprisingly well equipped as standard, with among others 15-inch alloy rims, a 10.1-inch central touch screen, the reversing camera, automatic air conditioning, four electric windows, hands-free start-up (but not hands-free access) and even a panoramic electric blind roof.

On the technical side, the T03 is equipped with a 70 kW engine (95 hp), against only 33 kW (45 hp) for an entry -level Dacia Spring Spring, and an LFP battery of 36 kWh useful for mixed WLTP 265 km. It is 40 km more than entry -level Spring. The T03 accepts the loads by alternating current up to 6.6 kW (such as the Spring) and the continuous current loads up to 48 kW (impossible on the entry -level spring) for a charge time of 30 to 80 % announced by Leapmotor in 36 min.
