Never the latest when it comes to declineing its range of ThinkPad and Thinkbook in a whole bunch of small surprising concept, Lenovo recurred on the occasion of IFA 2025. After the pivotable screen and the sun rechargehere is the Veriflex thinkbook, a 14 -inch rotary 14 inch laptop. This product, without any marketing plan to the general public for the moment, allows you to pass your laptop from a horizontal display to a conventional display by turning it on its axis.

To go from portrait mode to landscape mode, you have to rotate the screen from its upper right corner to turn it on its axis, to its perfect perpendicular fixing point. Windows 11 accommodates well from the landscape from one to the other – just like on a classic tablet -pc hybrid way pro 12 – so much even the small manipulation required to have the laptop well anchored in its supports, under penalty of lifting the whole chassis (relatively light at 1.39 kg) per megard.
… and then pouf, portrait fashion, we do not stop progress © Numériques
The idea is funny, but concrete interest is limited for ordinary people. For accountants with endless spreadsheets and web developers seeking a generous overview of a site, going from one display to another sense. The same cannot be said of the general public, a fortiori since the miracle advent of the 16:10 format for laptops. Logical, the “Project Pivo” is a product designed for IT professionals above all.
