Looking for a storage solution for my photovoltaic installation, I have been this MS-A2 battery from Hoymiles for some time (very well known brand in the solar field) which has just dropped a lot and is starting to be interesting in view of the services. This is in any case the best price I have seen for this model for delivery in France.
Far from being only a “simple” battery, the MS-A2 of Hoymiles allows “intelligent” energy storage in order to make the most of the always high cost of this type of battery:
– Associated with a Shelly Pro 3em counter (like all batteries of this type), it recharges or injects current automatically depending on the load of your electrical installation, your needs and sunshine.
– The interesting point is that it also allows for the night on the network in the HC rate (off -peak hours) to then reinject during the day in place of the HP price (full hours), especially on the red days (hello comrades Tempo EDF (Y))
The goal being to use the battery as much as possible to have a semblance of profitability and avoid rejecting the surplus production on the network which, not only does the SEUM not produce for free for EDF, but also destabilizes the network (you have to know how to recognize its wrongs).
Finally, last but not least, the battery operates in output mode mode, which allows either to supply the house during an electric cut (equivalent to a rescue generator) or to unplug the battery and use it as an independent generator, either at the bottom of the garden, or in camping or other … We therefore go beyond the simple profitability and relatively important aspect.
The battery allows you to be stored and operate indoors and outdoors, the best being a protected and heated place to make the best use of battery cells.
