Ligue 1+: Price, subscriptions, programs … All about the LFP platform

Following Dazn fiasco in last seasonand after months of discussions and agreements, French football is finally preparing to start a new chapter of its existence with the arrival of its brand new Ligue 1+ streaming platform.

A new streaming service managed by the LFP (Professional Football League) itself and which finally promises to broadcast as it should be the elite of hexagonal football. Launch date, offers, subscriptions, programs … Digital offers you a small summary of all the information to know.

Ligue 1+ in short

After years of broadcasting On Canal+then the Amazon Prime Video Ligue pass then the recovery by the Dazn platform and its offer at prohibitive prices, the LFP made a strong and unprecedented choice in the world: spreading its championship itself, via its brand new streaming service.

Entitled Ligue 1+ (or Ligue 1 Plus), this platform was officially created on July 1, 2025, under the aegis of Nicolas de Tavernost, former president of M6 and Managing Director of LFP Média.

Ligue 1+ will be available from the inaugural day of the 2025/2026 Ligue 1 season, and will thus broadcast the first match of Friday August 15 at 8:45 pm between Stade Rennais and Olympique de Marseille.

What content on Ligue 1+?

Ligue 1+ will offer 8 games (out of new) live and exclusively per championship day. The 9th meeting (that of Saturday at 5 p.m.) will be broadcast by Bein Sports, but available deferred on Ligue 1+ the next day.

In addition to the 34 days of the Ligue 1 championship, the platform will offer the Champions Trophy (PSG-OM), the end-of-season dam matches, as well as many programs and magazines:

• Kick-off : Magazine presented by Thibault Le Rol, broadcast Friday at 7.45 p.m.
• 90+1 : Magazine presented by Marina Lorenzo, broadcast on Saturday at 11 p.m.
• The club : Magazine presented by Thibault Le Rol, broadcast on Sunday at 7:15 p.m.

To accompany and embody this ambitious programming, Ligue 1+ will be able to rely on a team of professional journalists, columnists and former sportsmen including: Thibault Le Rol, Marina Lorenzo, Lesly Boitrelle, Félix Rouah, Benoît Cheyrou, Adil Rami, Johan Djourou, Benjamin Nivet, Rémy Vercoutre.

What prices and what subscriptions for Ligue 1+?

One of the Ligue 1+ size assets is undoubtedly its price. Where Dazn’s offer was flirting with the 30 euros per month, the LFP platform arrives with slightly more reasonable prices.

• The Ligue 1 pass: € 14.99 /month with commitment (12 months), or € 19.99 /month without commitment, with broadcast on 2 screens.
• The mobile pass: € 14.99 / month without commitment, with broadcast on 1 screen and only mobile (smartphone, tablet, computer)
• Le Pass -26 year olds: € 9.99 / month without obligation, with broadcast on 1 screen and only mobile (smartphone, tablet, computer)

An launch offer is available until August 31, is to subscribe for € 9.99 per month for three months, then € 14.99 (commitment one year).

Note that this has been confirmed: account sharing is possible on two screens and without limitation of home, which will allow you to share your subscription with friends in particular.

Finally, Prime Video offers until the end of August to obtain Ligue 1+ for € 12.99 per month instead of € 14.99, without being a bonus subscriber. Enough to save 24 euros over the year.
