MacBook Pro M6: time for real innovations for 2026, already making the M5 models obsolete

THE MacBook Pro M5 are hereand the rumors are starting again around the next generation. It must be said that the next model, running M6 chips, would have multiple additional innovations, instead of simple improved performance.
The Oled and touch screen of the MacBook Pro M6 would already ridicule the M5 generation
Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg journalist very well informed about Apple’s plans, returned to talk about the future of the MacBook Pro after the launch of the M5 models this Wednesday. According to him, the real revolution in this range of Apple laptops would arrive in 2026, with very specific developments.
Besides the switching to the M6 chipwhich will once again ridicule the previous generation in terms of performance with 2 nm engraving, this iteration would adopt a big change in terms of display: an Oled and touch screen.
But that’s not all, the notch would disappear to offer complete immersion in the content displayed on the panel. Previous rumors also suggest a thinner and lighter design, to stand out even more from the M1 to M5 generations.
Last bonus: the arrival of 5G on MacBook Pros (finally!) thanks to a new in-house chip, the Apple C2 — succeeding the Apple C1 of theiPhone 16e and the Apple C1XiPhone Air.
So many arguments that would clearly make us forget the MacBook Pro M5, recently launched by Apple. As a reminder, the MacBook Pro M6 is expected at the end of next year, a fairly short wait which clearly justifies the fact of waiting to have a model that is much more advanced in all respects.
