Marshall’s Major IV headphones feature the latest technical innovations developed by the brand, particularly in terms of autonomy and ease of use. Don’t be fooled by its overall very classic design: it is in reality a real compendium of technologies designed so that you can enjoy your music in complete freedom. With the Major IV, the English brand offers a headset that stands out for its impressive battery life and high-fidelity sound.
While it is generally sold for 99 euros, it currently only costs 79 euros on E. Leclerc (from 11/21 to 11/30).

A supra-aural headset with exceptional battery life

The strong point of the Major IV helmet lies in its wireless playback autonomy. Connected via Bluetooth, it promises more than 80 hours of listening time, a performance that places it among the leaders in its category. This endurance allows use over several days, without you needing to recharge it. No more risk of running out of battery during extended trips! Additionally, the headset has wireless charging functionality, making charging even more convenient. Simply place the right earbud flat on a compatible wireless charging pad (sold separately). Charging via the USB-C port is of course still possible. Thanks to fast charging, 15 minutes is enough to recharge the device enough to enjoy 15 hours of listening. For a full charge, allow approximately 3 hours. This perfectly optimized energy management guarantees almost constant availability of the device.

Major IV by Marshall, top acoustic performances!

Major IV benefits from Marshall’s know-how in sound. It is equipped with custom 40mm dynamic drivers, designed to reproduce a wide range of sounds with precision. With a frequency spanning from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz (20 kHz), they cover the entire human audible spectrum. The transducer sensitivity is 99 dB SPL (100 mV @ 1 kHz), coupled to an impedance of 32 ohms. Figures which reflect the ability to produce high sound volume, and compatibility with the majority of portable audio sources. The emphasis is on roaring bass, harmonious mids and crystal clear highs, characteristic of the rock-oriented Marshall sound signature. Wireless connectivity is based on Bluetooth 5.0 technology, ensuring a stable range of around 10 meters. The Major IV notably supports the SBC codec allowing quality audio transmission. In case of low battery, a traditional wired connection is possible thanks to the supplied 3.5mm mini-jack cable (which also allows a friend to share your listening). In addition to these technical specifications, the Major IV also stands out for its sustainable design: it is made with 45% recycled plastic.

A headset with intuitive operation and careful ergonomics

Marshall Major IV is an over-ear, closed-back headphone that maintains the brand’s classic aesthetic, with its textured black vinyl covering and famous logo. Ergonomics have been significantly improved compared to previous models. The memory foam earpads are softer and adapt more faithfully to the shape of the ear, which ensures optimal comfort of use, even after long listening sessions. So that you can store and transport it easily, it is foldable and very light (approximately 165 g). Controlling audio functions and managing calls is very intuitive, thanks to the single multi-directional control button. This button allows you to manage playback (play/pause, change tracks), volume, turning the device on and off, as well as answering, rejecting or ending phone calls using the built-in microphone.
