Welcome to the ground!
The merchant bay is a highly asymmetrical management game where each player assumes the role of a specific merchant with a unique shop. The merchants are in competition for 3 days (rounds) to sell their goods to the adventurers who arrive on the quays of the city, a place where the most famous markets of the five kingdoms are located.
Each player uses his own set of components (equipment and individual tray) and specific game mechanisms specific to his role to produce his goods, increase the efficiency of his shop, develop his team and, above all, become rich!
Although merchants work independently in their specialized store, they compete to attract customers, influence the demand for goods and obtain sponsorships from the four faction halls.
To have an advantage, traders can use local city dwellers to work in their store as staff. And if they dare, they can take advantage of the corrupted lair of thieves – but at what price? After three days of sale on the markets, the richest merchant will be declared the king of merchants!
The basic game is supplied with the Baie plateau (city, inhabitants, 6 boats for customers) and 4 starting merchants (the alchemist, the captain, the blacksmith, the chronomancian) with each, a figurine and all the equipment, tray and 3D elements, to produce its goods!
The box also contains a solo mode with an AI player: the hawker, who can also serve as a 3rd player in a part of 2.
