
Monster (Netflix): A disturbing trailer for season 3 on the killer Ed Gein
Hannibal Lecter, Norman Bates or Leatherface would probably not exist without the atrocities committed by Ed Gein. This killer of the 1950s has indeed inspired these fictional characters and, next October, subscribers Netflix will be able to discover its history in the third season of the anthology series Monsterwhich has just been revealed in a very clear trailer.
Murder in the skin
For those who do not know him, Ed Gein is a serial killer and a corpses thief who raged in the 1950s in the state of Wisconsin. Nicknamed the Boucher de Plainfield, he is officially the murderer “that” of two female victims, even if many others are also attributed to him.

Gein is also known for his violations of burials, having unearthed many corpses and then “transforming” them. Indeed, the police found at his house, curtains and other gloves made with the skin of these victims … as shown in the trailer below.

These images will allow fans of horror films to make the link between gein and some of the greatest figures of the genre. Indeed, as the synopsis of this new season of Monster,, “Gein and his perverse crimes gave birth to a new type of monster, intended to haunt Hollywood for decades.”

As for the first two seasons of MonsterRyan Murphy and Ian Brennan are behind The story of Ed Gein. Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) Leads his features to Eddie Gein in the series, while Laurie Metcalf (The Big Bang Theory) plays the role of her mother, Augusta.
