Moto Loop Buds: Motorola reveals clipable headphones decorated with Swarovski crystals
With the exception of Bose with its Ultra Open Earbuds and Huawei with his Freeclipthere are few manufacturers to have risked at headphones open to the strange clipable format. On the occasion of the launch of its new smartphones and its connected watchMotorola announces to enter this flourishing market with an iteration called loop buds.
Exactly like the other headphones of the genre, they cling to the external part of the ear (helix) thanks to their flexible reinforcement. Once put in place, the Loop Buds direct their acoustic rooms in the shape of a ball to the auditory duct without entering it. Comfort sensations are thus comparable to those of earphones open in turn, ideal for people wishing to remain alert in the surroundings or who do not support silicone tips. Both on the side of their box and their dimensions, Loop Buds are extremely close to the Huawei freeclip, even if they display a slightly higher weight of 5.8 g per atrium.
Open headphones set by Bose compatible Bluetooth audio
Acoustic level, the headphones are distinguished by 12 mm transducers slightly more imposing than those usually used by competition. As for semi-in-ear headphones Moto Buds+the sound signature of the Loop Buds was optimized by Bose. Motorola would therefore take advantage of the R&D implemented by Bose to design the Ultra Open Earbuds clippable headphones. The iteration of Bose being particularly high -end, however, we should not expect performance of the same ilk for these Motorola headphones. In addition, the Loop Buds will give access to a space audio mode named EVO. Bluetooth connectivity level, Motorola announces compatibility with the Audio standard and its LC3 Latence Lasence Codec, but without mentioning the Auracast audio sharing technology.
IPX4 certification, CystalTalk AI and 8 H of autonomy call algorithm
Like all completely open headphones, Loop Buds do not have a noise reduction system. We can still count on some modern features such as port sensors and advanced personalization via the Moto Buds app (unfortunately only available on Android). Make a little archaic, the Loop Buds are controlled using physical pimples. The manufacturer has undoubtedly chosen this control method to allow everyone to drive them easily when leaving the box. With an IPX4 certification, these clipable headphones can also be used without fear in the rain or in a sports setting.
As a tailor -made listener for smartphones, Loop Buds promise clear and intelligible telephone calls thanks to a pair of microphones associated with cystaltalk AI noise reduction algorithm. Autonomy is announced at 8 am for a single load, or performance identical to the other models of their caliber.
Headphones True Wireless Motorola Loop Buds will soon be available around € 149 in a single Trekking Green finish (Khaki). Note that the brand has declined in a version decorated with Swarovski crystals called French Oak. The latter is sold at a price of € 299.
