The F4-212 is an updated version of the previous generation F4-210. The F4-212 is equipped with a Quadricœur Arm V8.2 Cortex-A55 64 bits of 1.7 GHz more powerful, with integrated floating commas (FPU) unit and SIMD Neon engine, 1 GB of RAM DDR4 and advanced DSP Hardware acceleration. In addition, it benefits from improved capacities for 4K video encoding and video decoding, which makes it ideal for saving home documents and multimedia entertainment.
New operating system
The NAS F4-212 server, which operates under TOS 5.1, offers more than 50 new features and 600 improvements compared to the previous version. It meets the various needs of companies, improves speed, security and conviviality. Taking charge of a single hard drive up to 22 TB and a total of 88 TB, it saves the data from a Windows PC, a Mac, a mobile, a hard drive and a network disk for centralized management, thus avoiding data loss due to material problems or ransomware.
Domestic multimedia center
The F4-212 cloud storage system has a powerful 4K video decoding capacity and is compatible with the UPNP/DLNA protocol. With the dedicated “multimedia server” application of Terramaster or third -party multimedia servers (EMBY, Plex), it can broadcast videos to a variety of multimedia devices, including smartphones, tablets, Roku, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV and Smart TV, thus offering users of constant and reliable entertainment experiences.
More flexible mobile access
Users can access the TNAS device at any time and anywhere on any mobile customer iOS or Android, which allows them to browse files, save albums and share photos when they wish. The Mobile Terramaster customer is even equipped with a mobile administrator to facilitate remote management of your TNAS at home, which still improves flexibility of use.
Improved and user -friendly design
The NAS F4-212 box is equipped with a tool-free hard drive tray, which eliminates the need for additional tools during installation. In addition, the innovative Push-Lock of Terraaster automatically automatically secures the hard drives inserted, thus avoiding accidental disconnections or offline problems. The F4-212 has a new structure which not only incorporates improved shock absorption measurements, but also special sound absorption panels meticulously designed by Terramaster engineers to minimize noise.
