Netflix: Adolescence Surpass Stranger Things and becomes the 3rd most seen series on the platform

The British limited series Adolescence has just broken a new record on Netflix: it is now second in the top 10 series in English most seen from all time on the streaming platform, and has thus passed season 4 of Stranger Things.

A small series that has become large

Adolescence No matter how a rather modest mini-series (it contains only four episodes for a total duration of 3:50), it has risen among the largest productions in Netflix. It has now accumulated 141.2 million views since its launch on the streaming service on March 13. As a reminder, Netflix calculates its views by dividing the hours viewed by the duration of the program concerned.

The show with Stephen Graham and Owen Cooper is therefore just behind season 1 of Wednesday and his record of 252.1 million views and in front of season 4 of Stranger Things (140.7 million views).

Netflix measures the popularity of its series over a period of 91 days, which means thatAdolescence has a few more days to add even more views to his credit. Anyway, the series is now the fourth most popular season on Netflix over its launch period, behind Squid game season 1, Wednesday Season 1 and Squid game Season 2.

With the arrival of Squid game Season 3 end of June, Wednesday Season 2 in August and September and Stranger Things 5 At the end of the year, this ranking will surely move but that does not change the feat achieved by Adolescence.
