Netflix news: films and series not to be missed in July 2025

While season 3 of Squid game has just brought a conclusion to the event series of Netflixthe streaming platform keeps the pace in July 2025 with new films, series and documentaries added to its already generous catalog.

This month, we say goodbye to the series Sandman With the broadcast of his second (and last) season, Charlize Theron returns in The Old Guard 2 And we go back in the saddle for season 3 of Tour de France: in the heart of the peloton. An arrival which should allow Netflix to consolidate its place as a leader in the face of other streaming services Disney+,, Video premium,, Max or Canal+.

The Netflix series of the month

Sandman – Season 2

After a fatal meeting with his family, dreams of infinite must make a series of impossible decisions to try to save his kingdom, the awake world and himself of the consequences of his past misdeeds. To redeem yourself, Dream must face long -standing friends and enemies, but also gods, monsters and mortals. The path of forgiveness is nevertheless paved with unexpected twists and turns, and the real absolution could make it lose everything.

If we are saddened that these new episodes are the last in the series, the continuation of the adventures of the sandman, which adapts several volumes of the original comic book, is a must for this month of July and promises to make us dream.

The first part of this season 2 is available on Netflix from July 3. The second part is available from July 24. A bonus episode will be available from July 31.

The Old Guard 2

Andy and his team of immortal warriors are back, more motivated than ever, to protect humanity in the face of a new formidable threat that jeopardizes their existence.

Released in 2020, the first film The Old Guard had been a (small) surprise success after being viewed by 78 million households. This suite arrives five years later, and after a complicated production, and saw the return of the majority of the five -star cast – including Charlize Theron, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Matthias Schoenarts – and welcomes Uma Thurman for the occasion. Blowers, frantic action and fantastic mythology: the recipe remains the same, and if the execution is not particularly inspired, The Old Guard 2 Gets entertainment, without headache.
