Netflix will integrate TF1 in live and replay from 2026, a revolution against Canal+

This is an announcement that no one had seen coming. In a press release, the TF1 group announced that it has set up a distribution partnership with Netflix. This agreement, which will be launched in the summer of 2026, could well change things in the SVOD landscape in France, notably by shaking up Canal+.

Netflix and TF1 hand in hand

Today, in the world of streaming canal+ offers a unique solution bringing together in the interface of its Application just renowned content from other services (Apple TV+, HBO MaxParamount+, TNT … etc.). For the first time in the world, Netflix will try the exercise with the content from TF1.

So far, Netflix had already collaborated with TF1 on some productions, but this rapprochement is undoubtedly unprecedented and could shake up lines that have so far thought was immutable.
