New Video new features: films and series not to be missed in May 2025

Like its competitors Netflix And Maxthe streaming platform Video premium Returns in May 2025 with a generous arrival of new films, series and documentaries.

Between the return of the series Black hearts And Nine Perfect Strangersand films for all tastes (The shadow of Emily 2,, A Working Man,, The Creator), Amazon’s streaming service takes care of its subscribers.

Before presenting you the list of new Prime Video programs in May, here is our selection of the film and the series of the month on the service.

The Prime Video series of the month

Black hearts – Season 2

Following SAB removal, the whole group 45 is more than ever mobilized to release the snipeuse. But the arrival of an agent of the DGSE and the stormy negotiations with Zaïd, now in the wild, will strongly disturb this mission at very high risk. Between interior conflicts and explosive situations on the ground, the commando will have to remain united to overcome the many obstacles that will stand on its way, in order to save their teammate.

Two years after a first season crowned with great success at the same time on Prime Video but also on France 2, the series of Black hearts is back. A new, realistic and spectacular dive at the heart of an army commando pushed in its entrenchments. The icing on the cake, these six new episodes can always count on a solid and convincing cast: Nicolas Duvauchelle, Marie Dompnier, Nina Meurisse, Jérémy Nadeau, Patrick Mille … of the very beautiful French series, engaging and immersive at will.

The shadow of Emily 2

Stephanie Smothers and Emily Nelson meet on the magnificent island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant marriage with a wealthy Italian businessman. In addition to glamorous guests, murders and betrayals invite themselves in this marriage rich in twists and turns.

In 2018, the thriller Emily’s shadow had created the surprise by his cocktail of caustic humor, horror and unexpected twists. Director Paul Feig (My best friends) Return today to this suite still carried by the duo Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect) and Blake Lively (Never more).
