News CANAL+: Films and series not to be missed in July 2025

Canal+ and its streaming platform Think of you in this summer overwhelming with heat, and offers a slew of new films, series and documentaries to watch in the shade in July 2025.

A generous arrival, once again well helped by the Apple TV+ programs, Paramount+ and Ciné+ OCS, but which allows the French SVOD service to be solidly at the level of its American competitors such as Netflix,, Video premium,, Disney+ or Max.

As a preamble to the presentation of the list of new features in July, the film and the series of the month on Canal+ and its streaming service, according to the digital features.

The Canal+ series of the month

Unit – Season 3

152 years have passed. The Foundation has firmly established far beyond its modest beginnings, while the Empire of the Cleon dynasty is in decline. While these two galactic powers try to build a fragile alliance, a new threat arises: that of a formidable warlord known as The Mule, ready to conquer the universe by physical and military force … but also by the control of thought.

Based on the famous novels of Isaac Asimov, Apple’s series returns for a third season of ten episodes swollen with dizzying issues. A new chapter which promises to be more warrior and spectacular than the previous ones, especially with the arrival of the enigmatic character of the mule, embodied by Pilou Asbaek who joins an already prestigious cast: Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Lea Harvey … Those who have dropped this very free and climate adaptation will make fun of it, but for fans, Unit is undoubtedly one of the series events of the summer.

Nosferatu

In 1838 in Germany, the obsession between a haunted young woman, Ellen Hutter, and the former Transylvanian vampire who tracks her, the Count Orlok, who will lead to indescribable horror.

With NosferatuRobert Eggers once again delivers a feature film to the radical proposal, striking and incredible efficiency. A terribly bewitching gothic and horrifying tale and in the inhabited cast (Lily-Rose Depp in mind), which gives new life to a great classic of cinema. Without doubt the most beautiful film of last year.
