Nintendo announces the film Super Mario Galaxy and unveils a promising first teaser

On the occasion of Nintendo Direct this Friday September 12, 2025the Japanese firm has unveiled the official title of the suite Super Mario Bros, the filmsimply titled Super Mario Galaxy, the film. Expected on April 1, 2026 in the cinemas, this next feature film was even entitled to first exciting images.

Mario in galactic mode

It was Shigeru Miyamoto, Vice-President of Nintendo, and Chris Meledandri, founder of the Illumination Studio, unveiled this sequel to the fans using a short teaser of fifty seconds, to be discovered below.

This announcement is somewhat surprising, especially after the rumors that circulated a few months ago, and who wanted This sequelae is rather called Super Mario World. New proof that Nintendo decidedly likes to blur the tracks.

This cinematic sequelae is always overseen by the enlightenment studio (Me, ugly and nasty), produced by the duo Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and scripted by Matthew Fogel. She will also see the return of the original vocal cast, including Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy and Jack Black.
