Nintendo Switch 2 – Price, availability, pre -order: where and how to buy the new console?
The wait is coming to an end. Eight years after the launch of the original Nintendo Switch, Nintendo has finally lifted the veil on its new hybrid console, baptized, without surprise, Nintendo Switch 2.
What is the price of the Nintendo Switch 2?
The bill goes salted enough if you want to get the Nintendo Switch 2 since it will be negotiated around 470 euros, for the pack including the console alone. It is still an increase of € 150 compared to the launch price of the original switch! You will have to see with the first tests of the machine if the differences between this Switch 2 and the first name are worth such a price increase.
This price includes the console, a pair of new generation joy-con, a 4K reception station for TV mode, an HDMI cable and an AC adapter.
Pre -orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 will open this Tuesday, April 8. At a time when we write these lines, the console has not yet appeared among resellers, but it is certain that it will be well availability in the usual partner brands such as Fnac, Darty, Micromania, Amazon, as well as in large areas like Carrefour or Leclerc.
In any case, to really get your hands on the console, it will be necessary to wait, the first deliveries being scheduled until June 5, 2025.
Nintendo precise on its site that the most faithful users will receive an invitation that will allow them to order the console in priority. However, it is necessary to fulfill several conditions to be part of the elected officials, such as “having spent a certain to play on the Nintendo Switch”, “have a Nintebndo Switch online” subscription or even “agreed to receive promotional emails”.
If you have one of the current Nintendo Switch (classic, Lite, OLED), the Japanese manufacturer should also offer a recovery program, the precise terms of which have not yet been communicated yet.
