After Openai, Elon Musk says he attacks Apple in court Even if so far, no complaint has been filed. It could be a simple threat to the frustration of the billionaire who still cannot surpass Chatgpt on the App Store despite his efforts. But that’s not all since the X application was at the top of the news classification yesterday, but the App Store did not put it forward. Which strengthens his anger.

Apple talks about “security” To justify your choices
Company Adds: “Our goal is to offer safe discovery for users and valuable opportunities for development, collaborating with mary to inget app visibility in rapidly evolving categories.”

Grok undergoes the same fate since the application is only in fifth place in the general classification and the second in the productivity category. Yet, Grok 4 has been available for all users for several days. Elon Musk denounces the constant promotion of chatgpt by Apple. For him, this highlight “Impossible for any company of AI other than Openai to reach the first place of the App Store.”
Apple responded to Elon Musk’s attack in a statement transmitted to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. The Californian company implies that Elon Musk applications are not enough “Sure” By explaining that its priority is security as a criterion for selecting recommended applications.
For the manufacturer of the iPhone, it is therefore an editorial choice which is based on safety considerations and not on preferences. Apple insists on the word “security” in his answer. This is a barely veiled allusion to the recent Grok slippages, which has notably generated anti -Semitic content.
But that’s not all, since recently, the chatbot is transformed in “Virtual girlfriend” that can make salaries. Because of this policy, Elon Musk’s applications could therefore be automatically disqualified by the App Store in terms of promotion.
As explained previously, Elon Musk promised legal proceedings “Immediate”but nothing has taken place to date. It is very possible that Apple takes its threats very seriously while remaining firm on its criteria in terms of promoting applications.
We know, however, that the Cupertino firm is very close to Openai for the integration of chatgpt in Siri. And it is precisely this proximity that Elon Musk intends to exploit to denounce the competitor of Xai.
