RTX 50 is not out of stock. She is out of strategy. According to several industrial leaks relayed by Board Channels, Nvidia is preparing to redirect a significant part of its production capacities to its new generation ia chips, to the detriment of Its general public range GeForce RTX 50, which will have suffered significant shortages.

A strategic decision which risks aggravating an already tense situation on the GPU market, particularly in China, where deliveries would drop from 20 to 30 % from June.

Information has something to cringe the teeth of PC players and editors. While GeForce RTX 50 cards are already difficult to find at the recommended priceNvidia would consider a clear reduction in their production to make room for its ambitions in artificial intelligence. The heart of change? The passage in mass production of the highly anticipated GB300, direct successor to the GB200, already massively deployed in the data centers.

RTX 50 is not out of stock. She is out of strategy.

This redirection of production capacities would be motivated by a simple observation: the Data Center division relates much more to Nvidia than the sale of graphics cards dedicated to the consumer gaming, as the RTX 5080 Or 5090difficult to find at the recommended price. And with global demand in AI chips which exceeds the supply – under the leadership of language models and cloud infrastructure – the founder plays cards on the table.

In China, the first effects of this strategic turn are already felt: according to supply chains, RTX 50 deliveries are in free fall. Estimates speak of a drop of 20 to 30 % between May and June, without a clear perspective of short -term improvement. Enough to stir up speculation and increase prices far beyond the recommended public rate.

In parallel, the Santa Clara firm juggles the US export restrictions. Certain chips such as the GB200 and the B40 are still authorized in China, but their future remains uncertain. The company therefore relies on alternatives such as RTX Pro 6000D to compensate – additional proof that Asia remains a crucial market … but secondary in the face of the billions generated by the AI.
