Here is the 3D Odyssey: the first Samsung 3D -free 3D screen, $ 2,000

Because The heart of the device remains stereoscopic 3D without glasses. It is based on real -time eye monitoring technology, integrated directly into the monitor chassis. This follow -up makes it possible to dynamically adjust the parallax according to the position of the gaze, without breaking of fluidity.

The set is controlled by the Reality Hub application, downloadable on the Microsoft Store, which allows both to access optimized games and to convert certain 2D video content to 3D via an AI assisted conversion engine. However, it takes a muscular configuration to take full advantage of it: GPU NVIDIA RTX 3080 Minimum, CPU type I7 or Ryzen 7, and a full mode imperative. HDR deactivates 3D.

Designed for the game, the Odyssey 3D also incorporates an Edge Lighting system synchronized with action, two 5 W speakers, a complete ergonomic foot and a connectors provided (HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-A/B). Samsung has also started collaborations with Nexon (The First Berserker: Khazan) and Neowiz (DLC of Lies of P), in order to fully exploit the potential of in-game 3D.

Samsung therefore does not sign a simple product here, but a proposal. It remains to be seen if he will find his audience – or if he will simply arrive too early. Pre -orders will start on March 31, 2025, at a rate of $ 1,999.99 therefore, or 2,049 CHF in Switzerland. The price in France has not yet been communicated.
